After Saturday's St. Joseph celebration, we found that a piece to one of our puzzles had been lost. We couldn't find it anywhere in our family room or downstairs. Michael made a promise to Joseph that if he found the missing piece, he would get him a storm trooper. A couple of days ago, we were outside in the front yard enjoying the weather and lo and behold, Joseph found the missing puzzle piece! We thanked St. Anthony for helping him find it, as it surely required heavenly intercession to find a puzzle piece in the front yard where we never would have thought to look. And yesterday Michael made good on his promise, delivering a small storm trooper figure to Joseph. He is now in seventh heaven/hog heaven/cloud 9. He has told me, "I don't like dragons anymore, I just like storm troopers." He carries it around with him wherever he goes, tells everyone about it, talks about it and other Star Wars characters incesantly.
I think its safe to say your home has been invaded by storm troopers, and you can expect them to multiply accordingly in the coming years. Thankfully, there will soon be some dolls and ballerina tutus to balance it out. :)
