Mind your Ps and Qs

Michael and I are always pretty insistant that Joseph say (i.e. sign) "please" whenever he is asking for something. We also worked really hard on his saying (signing) "thank you" and he's gotten very good about that in the past month or so.

Yesterday, I was sitting next to Joseph eating some blueberries. Then Joseph started to take them out of the container and feed them to me - something he always has great fun doing - feeding mommy or daddy. Well, after a few blueberries, he held one up to my mouth, and then he snatched it away and indicated that I should say please! A perfectly reasonable request I think, so I obliged and signed "please." Then Joseph happily fed me the blueberry - and made sure that I said "thank you!"
