Yesterday as we were driving home from our Thanksgiving trip to Alpharetta, GA (where Michael's brother Russ and family live), Samuel was singing his version of "Old MacDonald" which goes something like this:
"Uncle Donald had a farm and Bingo was his name-o
E-I-N-G-O, E-I-N-G-O, E-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o"
To which Clara replies,"No! It's not 'E-I-N-G-O,' it's 'E-I-N-DEE-O!" and she goes on to sing "Uncle Donald" her way and the two begin squabbling about it and asking us, in order to settle the matter, which way (of their two versions) is the RIGHT way??
I'm so glad you captured this on your blog. Someday Clara and Samuel can look back and see what they fought over!
