I had an appointment with my midwife today and she checked my iron, per the P.A.'s request and it was an 11.4! (The PA wanted it to be in the double digits.) And that is from a finger stick, which she told me is lower than a venous blood draw, so I am doing good. (I think a level of 12 is technically the bottom of "normal" iron levels.
According to the little gestational wheel, I am 36 weeks and 1 day today.
That's great news, Sarah! I hope your iron level continues to get higher, too, so that you can deliver where you want to.
