Little Miss Clara

Early this week we went out to eat at a restaurant.  I prepared a little plate of food for Clara and then attempted to feed it to her.  Every time I brought the spoon to her mouth, she shook her head, "no."  I tried a few times and then gave up.  Maybe she didn't want to eat.  She wasn't fussing at all.  But I wanted her to have some dinner.  Finally, I placed the spoon with some food on it in front of her.  She gave a profound nod of her head, picked up the spoon and proceeded to "feed" herself.  Probably 70% of the food ended up on her or the floor (Sorry, nice waitress!)  But she was happy!
